Tylen Elliott
President
Tylen is a junior Communication Studies major at EIU. Not only does he serve as BSU's President, he is also the chairman of University Board. During his time at Eastern he has been a DJ for WEIU Radio and crowned Homecoming Prince amongst other things. He has been doing graphic design work for six years, one of his projects being this very website.
Dominic Hamilton
Treasurer
Dominic Hamilton is a junior majoring in Kinesiology and Sports Studies, with a concentration in Exercise Science with hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist. He has been an active member of The Black Student for two years. Dominic is also involve in many service projects throughout the Charleston community. Though he has a busy schedule, he is looking forward to having a great year with BSU.
Aaliyah Stephen
Parliamentarian
Aaliyah Stephen is a junior at EIU majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Broadcast News and is minoring in Broadcast Meteorology. She not only serves as your 2015 Parliamentarian for the Black Student Union, but she is also: the Special Events Coordinator for University Board, the 2015 Facilitator of S.U.C.C.E.S.S, a third year volunteer for the WEIU News Watch Team, a third year Morning Show Co-Host for the Hit-Mix 88.9 WEIU radio station, and a member of the National Honor Society and the Honorary Society for Collegiate Journalists. She loves to be involved and she feels that being on the BSU executive board is a honor. Her goal is to maintain a lawful system that members can abide by.
Khirsten Miller
Internal Affairs Committe Chair
Khirsten Miller is a junior here at EIU majoring in Psychology with a minor n Family and Consumer Sciences. Not only is she the Internal Affairs chair for the Black Student Union, she is also involved in numerous of other organizations. Khirsten is a member of the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, Alpha Phi Omega- Delta Psi Chapter and she works with office of New Student Programs. Her goal is to make BSU more interactive and keep the members engaged to that they keep coming back every Monday at 6!.
Arius O'Neal
Service Affairs Committe Co-Chair
Arius O'Neal is a junior majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Concentration in Hospitality Management with a Business Administration minor. She is also very involved on campus as a Resident Assistant in Andrews Hall and a member of the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega-Delta Psi Chapter, and she in looking forward to being one of BSUs service affairs chairs.
Astoria Griggs-Burns
Special Events Committe Chair
Astoria is a Sophmore at EIU majoring in Health Administration. Her main goal while being on the Executive Board is getting more people involved and active on campus. She would like to bring more unity among all the RSO on campus.
Nathan Wehr
Adviser
I am the Interim Assistant Director for Student Life. I am the Advisor for the Black Student Union, Latin American Student Organization, and the Diversity Action Council. I also oversee the leadership components of the Student Life Office and the campus community. I was born and raised in Jasper, Indiana and graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana with a Bachelor's of Science in Public Relations and Advertising and a minor in Communication Studies. I am currently working to complete my Masters' in College Student Affairs here at Eastern Illinois University. Fun fact about myself is that I am obsessed with Sperry's and own more than a normal person should. I also have an obscene bow-tie obsession as well! I look forward to working with the Black Student Union and hope to see you Monday's at 6pm in the Charleston-Mattoon room!
Daniel Wallace

I am a senior who wears many hats on campus. I am a scholar, ambitious leader, and very involved student. Most importantly, I am BSU's Secretary. I always make sure that I am approachable to whomever comes my way. I do this because the smallest things such as gestures, comments, or conversations can have a great impact on someone. I am always striving to better myself and grow as an individual, forever maintaining a positive light for others to follow.

Hello my name is Mariah Scott I am a senior here at EIU majoring in Broadcast Communication with a minor in journalism. This year I am your Public Relations Chair for the Black Student Union. I plan to think outside the box and give new ideas when it comes to promoting BSU along with the my committee, as well as getting the entire campus exciting about BSU while educating them about it as well.

My name is Jerome Hampton, I am a 2nd year student here at EIU with a major in business management and a minor in entrepreneurship. I am the co-chair for service affairs. I really look forward to working with everyone this year and making it a productive, fun, and memorable year.
Tiarra Webb
Social Affairs Committe Chair
Hello, my name is Tiarra Webb. I am a senior here at Eastern Illinois University majoring in Exercise Science with a focus on Occupational therapy. I am the Social Affairs Director. I plan to bring students of all backgrounds together; getting people out of their comfort zones, breaking barriers, and mingling amongst each other in harmless fun. In my spare time, I perform spoken word poetry, read the bible, and exercise. I also love giving advice and making someone laugh when they're feeling down.

“I am a Graduate Assistant in the Student Life Office and a co-advisor for the Black Student Union. I am a student here as well, taking classes in the College Student Affairs Masters’ Program. In my free time (which comes around once in a blue moon) I like to spend time with friends, watch Modern Family, and cook. A fun fact about me is that I LOVE camo print. I have a camo tumbler, bowtie, socks, shirt, and phone case and I’m always looking to expand my collection. Cheers y’all!”
